John Augustyn is a quiz bowl player who formerly played for Benet Academy and Stanford Online. He was a part of Team Illinois in 2023 and 2024, and was just the third player in state (Class AA) history to be named to the IHSSBCA All-State team (and by extension, the All-Sectional Team) all four years of high school.[1] To date, he has scored over thirty thousand points in NAQT sanctioned-events.
