William Horton played for Alpharetta and Harvard.

William was the t-12th highest individual scorer at the 2010 NSC, leading Alpharetta to a t-16th finish in its first national tournament appearance. In 2011, returning to PACE NSC, he was the 10th individual and the team placed 11th.

He co-founded the GQPA to fund Georgia's first NASAT team in 2011. He played on the team with Abubakar Abid from Walton, and Adam Silverman and Katherine Cannella of Centennial (GA). They placed 5th.

In 2013, he played on the Harvard team that placed 1st in DII at the NAQT SCT New England and t-4th in DII at the 2013 ICT.
