- They are not. If somebody wants to add information about the tournament, things like it being the first tournament of the year for many teams, its large size despite being that early, or something notable happening at the tournament could be worth mentioning. The fact that it is 20/20 and involves morning and afternoon pool play could be mentioned, but readers are going to assume that stuff even if it isn't mentioned.
