Hoover High School is a public high school in Hoover, Alabama. Hoover was founded and coached by Joshua Rutsky from 2005-2019, followed by Anthony Hamley and Timothy Caine from 2019-2025. The current coach, Austin Dennis, joined Timothy Caine starting in 2024 and now leads the program. One of the strongest Alabama high school teams, Hoover won four NAQT Alabama Championships in a row from 2009 to 2012. They have also had success nationally over the past few years, including finishes of 42nd at the 2008 HSNCT, 17th at the 2009 HSNCT, and 27th at the 2010 HSNCT.
