The team was founded by IHSSBCA Hall of Fame member, Brenda Bratcher, in 1981. Bratcher coached them for over 20 years and retired in 2003. During her tenure, Coach Bratcher accumulated over 350 victories and never had a losing season. Her career culminated in an appearance in the State championship in 2002.
