The East Central Ohio League (ECOL) is an Academic Challenge league in East Central Ohio that features teams from the Tuscarawas, Coshocton, and Guernsey counties. The league is very loosely based off of the athletic league of the same name.
While it's technically called a "league", they do not hold any regular-season matches. Instead, they host a tournament (usually the first weekend in February) at New Philadelphia High School with all of the teams in the league. Although they only have 6 member teams, they somehow still attempt to qualify a team for OAC Regionals, which require an 8-team minimum.
