Oakville High School is located in Oakville, MO, a census-designated place in south St. Louis County. The team was founded in fall 2009 by coach Christina Whelehon and almost exclusively attends Missouri Quizbowl Alliance events. Oakville competes in Class 4 in the MSHSAA state championship series.
Oakville won its MSHSAA district in 2011, but was defeated by Cape Central in Sectionals because most of the team was on a band trip that Thursday evening [1]. Oakville attended the 2011 NSC, placing 58th of 60 teams.
