To end a bet, apparently people do call it Georgia, at least according to Wikipedia. Peter Cordeiro 19:36, 6 June 2014(UTC)
Just "Georgia" is the common athletic abbreviation for the school used on national news outlets. Maybe within the state of Georgia UGA is more commonly used to avoid confusion with like Georgia Tech or whatever other schools.--Zachary Yan (talk) 12:56, 6 June 2014 (PDT)
- UGA is more common, wanted to avoid confusion with the state. Of course people call it Georgia, so dunno what kind of point you want to prove. Alex Liu (talk) 15:05, 6 June 2014 (PDT)
I was wondering about the Zachary Yan page. Since my stuff was edited to be considered not very important, shouldn't him editing Wikipedia be deemed as such? Peter Cordeiro 15:19, 29 June 2014(UTC)
- No one needs a history on his doings. If you think my stuff is unnecessary, too, then go ahead and remove it, because I added it because I was pissed off at him. Alex Liu (talk) 09:00, 29 June 2014 (PDT)
- I think I will take it away. I completely understand and agree with your sentiment of him, but think that if we are making the decision not to write about their other activities besides quizbowl, then we need to get rid of it all. I really like to thank you for your cooperation. Peter Cordeiro 18:58, 29 June 2014(UTC)
