Kuo-Kai is a self-described "mediocre generalist" who plays for Harvard. In high school, he was the captain of Walter Johnson. He used to carry around a stuffed Winnie the Pooh named Daichi Ueda to tournaments as a teammate in order to express his anger at absent teammates who do not care about real quizbowl.
