David Appel

David Appel is a teacher and scholarbowl coach at Belleville East High School. He was the coach of the Team during the team's championship years from 2023 to 2025. Appel is known as a ruthless and charismatic figure, a key factor in his championship success.

Appel has had many memes about him, most notably for his use of the words "ok" and "hello". His nicknames include Dappel and Glorius Leadder. Appel will get on you for a bad grade or forgetting your legal paper unless you are Milo Hathaway.
