The 1977-78 season for Richview CI in Toronto was not particularly noteworthy: the team was eliminated in the first round of Reach for the Top by eventual national champions Vincent Massey. However, the team was led by 2006-2015 Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper.
Another future PM, Kim Campbell, participated in the 1964-65 season of Reach for the Top (when it was still only Vancouver-based), playing for Prince of Wales Secondary School.
