Second-place team at the NAC, losing the final to Horace Greeley after winning the New Orleans phase and defeating Walton on a very fishy protest.
NAC roster was Josh Patashnik, Sean Delphy, Cate McGuire, James Zou, and Devin Alavian, coached by Tom Ihlbrock and Tom Draganski.
Although they won the San Diego Academic League in 2003, Scripps Ranch is not known to have competed in any mainstream Southern California tournament that year. Thus, how they would have fared on pyramidal questions against the best teams in the area is unknown.
