Amit is a junior on Southside's B-team. His team finished 5th at the USC mirror of EFT in 2009 and 12th at ACF Fall Southeast. Amit was 2nd and 10th individually, respectively. He also is accused of cheating at the 2010 NSC and attempting to cheat at NASAT. In response, Amit wrote an excuse that can be found here [1]. PACE decided to disqualify Amit from participating at any PACE events and disqualify Southside from the 2010 NSC thereby shifting every team (except State College) up one place. It is reported that Amit is no longer playing quizbowl for reasons unassociated with punishment.
