Member of Honaker's Quizbowl team and team captain during the 2009-2010 season. Noted for breaking the school's VHSL records for most points scored in a single game (260), most points in a single round (130), highest single-season point total, and greatest accumulation of points in a career. The latter of the two records are noted because he broke both records in 18 games; previous record-holders took ~30 games to do so.
Notable antics include answering Tennessee Williams and Isabel Allende, negging Freddie Mercury on a question about Nelson Mandela, and being able to answer questions on World War II battles while buzzing outdoors in a raging thunderstorm.
Plans to matriculate at William and Mary in fall 2010, yet is still debating over whether to continue playing quizbowl or retire from it entirely.
