The Claremont Colleges team is composed of students from Pomona College, Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd College, Keck Graduate Institute, and Scripps College. While students from Claremont Graduate University and Pitzer College are also eligible to participate, as of 2018 none have done so.

The Claremont Colleges won the 2012 NAQT West Sectional Championship Tournament (Division II). Claremont Colleges had previously finished in second place at the 2011 West SCT], thus qualifying for the NAQT Intercollegiate Championship Tournament (ICT) for the first time.
