Daichi won the Wallace Stevens Literature Singles Tournament after correctly guessing that Allende and Kawabata would come up in the finals. Despite his clairvoyance, Daichi still missed the Kawabata toss-up after some last minute studying up on him in the 5 minute break before the finals. Daichi currently attends [[Vanderbilt]].

Daichi won the Wallace Stevens Literature Singles Tournament after correctly guessing that Allende and Kawabata would come up in the finals. Despite his clairvoyance, Daichi still missed the Kawabata toss-up after some last minute studying up on him in the 5 minute break before the finals. He attended Vanderbilt for the 2009-10 school year, and helped the team get second at the ACF Fall mirror at Georgia Tech on Halloween. He then transferred to Chicago, where he currently plays.
