Elgin Academy is a K-12 school located in Elgin, Illinois. The Scholastic Bowl team coach at Elgin Academy currently is Jorge Sanchez, who is an IHSSBCA member and the 2022 IHSSBCA Class 1A Coach of the Year.
In 2022, Elgin Academy won its first Masonic State Championship in Class 1A. Later the team got 11th place in NAQT Small School Nationals.
The current Elgin Academy scholastic bowl team captain is Tommy Guyett, who averaged 67.27 PP20TUH in the 2022 SSNCT.
