-Fairview High School is a 9-12 public high school in northeast Cullman County, Alabama. The school's scholar's bowl team is coached by Eric Vest. The club president is Brett Hogan. Fairview is for the most part only active in [[Cullman County Scholar Bowl]], though it did attend [[Snead State Scholars Bowl]] in 2008 and 2010 while still under coach Vicki Skelley. However a six-year "true quizbowl" drought ensued until 2016, when at the urgence of team captain Brett Hogan, Fairview's quizbowl team competed in the [[West Point Spring|West Point Rainwater Invitational]], which was the squad's first time playing outside of its mediocre circuit in over six years. Though posting a lackluster performance that day by going 1-6, quizbowl at Fairview was effectively brought out of the "dark ages" by the hope shown in the team's players.
