Format

Format is a term with multiple meanings in quizbowl discussion. It can refer to:

• Question format, namely, the style and arrangement of question types and question styles within the packets of a tournament. Examples include Tossup-bonus format, four-quarter format, VHSL format, and old PACE format.

• Tournament format, a.k.a. the schedule.

• Formatting, or the proper style and arrangement of text within a quizbowl packet according to guidelines
