Hoover High School is a public high school in Hoover, Alabama. Hoover was coached by Joshua Rutsky from 2005-2019, and is now coached by Anthony Hamley and Timothy Caine. One of the strongest Alabama high school teams, Hoover won four NAQT Alabama Championships in a row from 2009 to 2012. They have also had success nationally over the past few years, including finishes of 42nd at the 2008 HSNCT, 17th at the 2009 HSNCT, and 27th at the 2010 HSNCT. They also placed 10th at the 2007 NAC. Hoover placed 27th at the 2010 NSC. In 2019, Hoover finished tied for 19th at HSNCT and 24th at PACE NSC. Hoover won the ASCA High School State Championship in 2008, 2012, 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2021. Hoover hosts the annual Hoover Invitational Tournament and the Hoover Elite Meet.

Former Hoover coach Joshua Rutsky coached Alabama's first-ever NASAT team in June 2016, which included Hoover player Joseph Jun.
