-'''Jordon "The Don" Vandyke''' played for Honaker from 2005-2009 and served as team co-captain in 2008-2009. Vandyke has since retired from quizbowl after enrolling at [[Virginia Tech]], though he has plans on transferring to [[William and Mary]] for his Sophomore year. Vandyke often led the team in scoring with his deep knowledge of most things European, as well as Art and Classical Music. For this reason, his scores were considerably higher in [[NAQT]] and [[HSAPQ]]-question formats, since [[VHSL]] questions used to include only 1 art or 1 classical music question per match. He was often named to the all-tournament team at invitationals, and he also won the neg prize at the first annual EQUINE (2007), when he played for the B team.
