Matt Cvijanovich is a former Iowa State and Illinois player. He won at least one scoring title [1] and had other strong results throughout 2004. [2] [3]

After his tragic passing from acute pancreatitis on January 2, 2005, he became the namesake of the circuit's premier spring junior bird tournament, the Matt Cvijanovich Memorial Novice Tournament. His memory also inspired a philanthropic program to give buzzers to new programs, Matt's Buzzers, which is funded and overseen by his parents.
