Morgan Venkus is a former player for Loyola Academy who briefly played for Chicago. During the 2012-2013 school year, he "transformed from a really good Quizbowl player to one of the best in the nation" according to Harry White [1]. At the 2013 HSNCT, he played solo during the prelims, was the #3 overall prelim scorer, and qualified his team for the playoffs (his teammates joined him on Sunday). He is notable for only becoming good due to unhealthy amounts of spite and being late to things.
