Peter Bergman is the current coach of Solon High School's quizbowl program. He was chosen to take over as coach after Bob Weiser's retirement in 2015.

Early Life

Bergman graduated from high school in New Jersey, and later attended Ithaca College.

Post College

Bergman began working as an English and Film teacher at Solon in 1999. He became involved in quizbowl in 2015, after coach Bob Weiser began seeking a replacement for after his retirement. Bergman inherited a strong team featuring Rohin Devanathan and John Xiang, two of the best players in Ohio at the time. The squad won both the NAQT and OAC state championships in 2016, and tied for 34th at the 2016 HSNCT.
