In 2018, NAQT revived the NAQT Asian Championship, with the 2018 edition hosted in Singapore, the 2019 division hosted in China, and the 2020 and 2021 tournament hosted in Seoul.
UKQB announced a short-lived partnership with Chinese education organization ASDAN in 2020.
In 2021, NAQT partnered with SKT education group to host the NAQT China Championship. The 2021 Finals were held in (location needed), and the 2022 division was held online. Although the program has been criticized for its use of multiple-choice questions in the 2022 Preliminary Tournament and for its exorbitant pricing, it has succeeded in attracting a decent player base of over 100 teams as of 2022.
