He played for [[Hanceville Middle]] in 6th grade. He has shown an enthusiasm for quizbowl throughout his time playing at Fairview. He is a practicing Norse pagan, therefore getting a lot of mythology tossups correct. He also plays bass clarinet in the band and is heavily involved with the newly revamped theatre program at Fairview.
