Matthew played Knowledge Bowl, which is a better format than the wiki gives it credit for, during my career at JFK High School in Burien, WA, and was a member of the | state-winning team in 2009. He is now a freshman at UChicago, where he is happy if he answers 2 questions per practice.
He is also a proponent of | middle school Knowledge Bowl, improved with pyramidal questions, in the Seattle Area.
