Some tips

Welcome to the wiki, and I hope that you will enjoy making some great contributions.

This isn't wikipedia, and there aren't as many stringent and absolute rules here, but there are some general suggestions that you might want to keep in mind. First and foremost, while you need to be registered to edit, everything you put out there is visible to the world. So ... when you write things like:

He provides guidance and coaching for the team in addition to being the best player on the team.

or

His house is affectionately known as "the quizbowl capital of Alabama".

You may see these things as funny, but just about everyone else is going to interpret this as some young high school kid who is really full of himself. I have no doubt you weren't shooting for that, so you might want to consider re-editing that a bit.

Also, if you have indeed made a great many contributions to the team, and that may very well be the truth, try writing in a far more neutral tone, and be specific about what has happened.

Writing the truth in a neutral tone will make for a better article.
