The University of Louisville is a public university in Louisville, Kentucky founded in 1798. They have had an active quiz bowl team for many years, and maintain a rivalry with the team at the University of Kentucky.

After a brief hiatus post-COVID, the team restarted in 2024, winning a DII title at ACF Fall in 2024, placing 4th at the Southeast site of ACF Regionals in 2025, and beating Kentucky's A team at a non-KCQRL tournament for the first time since September 2018 at 2025's ACF Fall tournament. Louisville would also qualify two teams to the IQBT Undergraduate Championship as wild cards in 2026 and bring one team, where they placed 24th in their first nationals appearance in nine years.
