I apologize that my message sounded like asking
for the tournament to change to fit me. I should have
emphasized that, simply put, these questions were very much
beyond me. I achieved two dubious firsts at this
tournament (through four yrs of HS play and about 10 college
tournaments): it was the first time my best score was 1/0, and
the first time I went 0/1. Admittedly, some of my
feelings toward it may have been due to my feeling
slightly under the weather (ask anyone there), but I still
think a few more years of practice are in order before
I show respectability at a high level such as
this.
