For those of you who haven't seen the show, it's
a direct import of a British show of the same
title. The only difference is that across the pond they
play for a million pounds.

Though I haven't seen the UK version, from the way it
was described, it sounds as if--with the glaring
exception of Regis Philbin--the show were directly imported
to the US with no changes other than the switch from
pounds to dollars. Given the tendency to "remake" shows
recently (e.g., the multiple failed remakes of Pyramid), I
was quite impressed.
