"QuESADILLA 2: Yo Quiero Quizbowl," a guerrilla quiz bowl event, was held on August 21, 1999, at Caltech. The tournament was won by "R. Town" (R. Hentzel and Kristan-from-USC) with an 8-1 record (the one loss being to Caltech.) Next in the standings were the "UCLA Three Gorditas" with a 6-3 record (two losses to R. Town and one loss to the Military-Intellectual Complex) and the "Caltech Disgruntled Day Traders" also with a 6-3 record (one loss to R. Town and two losses to UCLA.) The prize for Best Packet, adjudicated by R. Hentzel, was dinner at a Thai restaurant and was awarded to the Caltech Disgruntled Daytraders.
