For anyone who hasn't read about it...Sunday and
Friday's episodes of WWTBAM? were the most watched
programs of the TV week (Aug 16-Aug 22), while four
episodes of the show placed in the Top 10.
To the
best of my knowledge, this is the first time a
quiz/game/"audience participation" show has topped the Nielsen
ratings since "21" and "The $64,000 Question" were on the
air, and that was 40 years ago!
And, it's
being reported that ABC will order fresh episodes of
WWTBAM? in time for the November "sweeps," so keep your
dialing fingers ready, you may get another shot to
qualify!
