Gotta go back the the 1997 NAQT Big 10 CCT
Finals, Michigan vs. Chicago. Chicago negs on a toss-up,
then the moderator pauses in the middle of the
question to consider that Chicago may have a correct
answer. Chicago then protests that they the moderator is
giving Michigan time to think about the answer when Alex
Hovan deadpans "I was just thinking about sex,
so..."
There's also the 1999 NAQT ICT incident, but I'll let

Also, funniest line
that I have been involved in personally goes to Dwight
Kidder, who hearing I negged with Gilgamesh on a question
on I believe it was St. Paul, who said "Craig, I
didn't know you were Sumerian Orthodox."
