Re: Just a Question

It's hard to say. Certainly it is not the be all,
end all of my existence, but I also acknowledge that
it certainly defines a large part of who I am. I
spend a lot of time thinking "that would make a great
lead-in." or "yeah, I heard that once in a question." I
also know I have made a number of friends on the
circuit and have learned a great deal about other parts
of the country through them. I have gotten to see
some parts of America I would never had had reason to
go to, and I have bonded with teammates on those
long drives, another thing I will always remember. I
will miss this when I finally do hang up my buzzer and
move on to the "real world" and maybe that's why i
know I won't be completely gone, because I love it too
much and because it has meant to much to me. I agree
with Beth's sentiments that one day I would like to
coach and being a pre-professional teacher, I certainly
can foresee that happening.

I think that's why
so many of us stick aroun in one form or another.
It's so hard to find a community in life in which
knowledge is rewarded and where people of a similar ilk
spend a lot of time here.
