I'm sorry, but am I the only one who can separate my
emotions from everything else, and say that CBCI's
trademark on its name is a valid thing.
Well, valid
within the logic of the Western capitalist tradition,
but let's not get into that right now. All of "The
Company"'s actions are perfectly in line with that
tradition, and I can not fault them, taken within context.
The context however....
Now talk about the
artistic merit of the game (artistic merit of quizbowl?
what am I smoking?) and I can readily agree that
College Bowel, as Albert Whited puts it, is quite lacking
compared other forms of quizbowl.
