I don't recall hearing any Joyce or Faulkner questions either (at
SSI), but I think there was at least one unused round, maybe two. 
Kevin Comer wrote the vast majority of the questions -- I only wrote
the science --  so the lion's share o' compliments go to Kevin on the
overall quality of his questions.

And while I'm here, congratulations to South Carolina for taking the
Div I title in a tough field, and to the masters team of Chris
Borglum, Jim Baker, Mark Rupright, and John Mathews, which I believe
beat South Carolina in the final match.  Congratulations also to
Valencia A, FSU B, and Emory B for their excellent showing in Div II.
 Hopefully next year's tournament will be held in weather
significantly above the freezing point of water (in the degree system
of your choosing).
