<<I'm not particularly picking on Mr. Weiner, here,
but I am amused to notice that in people's bid
predictions for D2 no mention has been made about the
community college teams. Though most teams outside of
the Southeast haven't really seen any of the stronger
CC teams, I can assure you that Bainbridge and
Valencia Red, in particular, will provide formidable
competition for many of the D2 teams. We'll see y'all
there!

There was no slight intended; two of the CC sectionals
didn't post their stats by the time I began crunching
numbers, so I couldn't include them. Also, I presume a
lot of the community colleges may have trouble making
the tournament site. It looks like NAQT was right and
I was wrong regarding the travel problems in the D1
field; by my estimation, only about three or four of
the invitees will likely decline due to financial
problems with air travel. However, I'm wondering how
the tournament site will impact the community
colleges.
