That's a monumentally inexplicable decision.  There is absolutely no 
logical reason to both give Notre Dame the points *and* read them an 
extra tossup.  Why an extra tossup?  To make up for the fact that 
DePauw was "unfairly" allowed a free shot at the points Notre Dame 
should have had?  DePauw didn't get them, so it didn't matter.  
Furthermore, if DePauw couldn't get it, who's to say Notre Dame would 
have gotten it on a prompt?

Clearly the *correct* decision would have been to give Notre Dame the 
15 points back, making the score 165-155, and then read them the 
bonus.  Since they got 20, they would have won anyway, which takes a 
lot of the sting off this hideous botching of logical game procedure.
