I'll just say I agree with David and Craig's
opinions and sentiments.

That said, this was the
first competition and featured only JV teams. Mirrored
to this tournament was another JV comp at
Minnesota/Carleton.

It should also be said that University of the South
doesn't get out to compete a lot because of what I
presume to be the financial difficulties of a very young
team. Regardless, they still have performed at nearby
tournaments very well, even if they can't go anywhere else to
show off their talents. I'm hoping they'll be able to
field a team at one of the various national tournaments
in April (hopefully the Cleveland one for TRASH :)
), but we'll see if their logistics and budget can
support such a trip.

Regardless, it is a good
thing whenever we can support the development of new
talent and programs with tournaments like the one that
Charlie and Eric (I presume) ran this past
weekend.
