Well, I also wouldn't say "FAQTP, yodel," because, while that is one
of my favorite questions of all time, it's certainly not a typical
quiz bowl question.  As abhorrent as some people find them, long
questions are the norm at most (non-CBI) tournaments.

Perhaps hockey has nothing to do with quiz bowl.  Or perhaps not.

It sounded to me like Matt W.'s original post was simply a request for
logical, civilized discussion.  (Which, sadly, is probably impossible
around here, if the past decade is any indication.)  What's wrong with
that?
