As James has mentioned Maize Pages as a way to reach out to new teams, I should
also point out that while I do my best to collect information from new programs
to be placed in the directory (which is the only part of Maize Pages which I
focus on any more, since it seems to have been the most useful part) and am
greatly thankful for people, like Dwight Kidder and Charlie Steinhice, who send
me tips on new programs to contact. I can only reach out to new teams if I
know about them. If I know whom to contact to get them to sign up for the
Directory, I write them, and generally (70 percentish), they will submit their
information. If they are listed, they are more likely to be spotted by teams
making an effort to draw them in through direct email contact.
But the Maize Pages are only as good as the information on them. So if you see
something missing, incorrect, or out of date on them, please let me know at the
address at TMP and I will work to bring it up to date.
