WIT XII & TRASH "JB" results

WIT XII: Leftwing Communist Jewish Homosexual Pornographers was held
on the campus of UC-Berkeley on Saturday, October 16. The 14 teams
present were divided into two arbitrary brackets, played a
round-robin, and then were redivided into two playoff brackets, where
they played another round-robin. Chicago A (Andrew Yaphe, Seth
Teitler, Selene Koo, and Laura Kirkpatrick) swept the field with a
perfect 12-0 record to take first place, while Berkeley A (Jerry
Vinokurov, Kenny Easwaran, and David Farris) took second with a 9-3
overall record. Andrew was also the leading scorer with 69.6 PPG,
while Jerry surprised no one by taking home the neg crown with 19 negs
(but also was the 2nd-highest scorer).

After the conclusion of WIT, a TRASH mini-event on the TRASH JB set
kindly provided by Anthony de Jesus took place. Despite the
unfortunate shortage of newbies due to transportation issues, the 6
teams played a rollicking round robin, with "Duuude" (who might have
had a cleverer name not put on the scoresheets) taking the prize with
a perfect 5-0 record. The stats are available at
