I don't think much will change in this respect. April will continue to be a mess, with four 
formats jockeying for position amidst Easter and what have you.  But we've all learned that 
TDs must exercise more due diligence in announcing their tournaments. Ounce of 
prevention, etc.  Judging by the emphasis on "politeness" in other posts, I have every 
confidence that those wishing to host an academic tournament will extend the same 
courtesy to earlier-scheduled trash tournament dates as they expect for their events, 
regardless of "fakeness."

If this weekend's incident is truly the catastrophe it's being made out to be, I don't think 
you want this. It seems to me that much of the vitriol about this incident comes not from 
double-booking or Mark "forcing" Jerry to reschedule, but from the idea that a vote of 
sorts was taken, and the market chose, as Weiner puts it, fake over real.
