Sudheer,

The only time I went to this tournament we went with the intention
of having fun. And we did. After all it is a THEME TOURNAMENT. It
is not ACF Nationals or NAQT Nationals or even CBI Nationals where
people should/will/and will always get their noses bent out of shape
because their competitive instincts get the better of them. Some of
my favorite rounds (albeit written by different people on the
circuit) were at this tournament. Other players enjoyed the rounds
like La Vie Boheme (J.P. Lien who handed me a BRUTAL smackdown) and
Cheryl Barkauskas (who nearly 20'd a Harry Potter round). If you
don't think this is worth your time or money, or if you think it is
beneath your dignity then maybe you shouldn't go. If the tournament
has retained the lighthearted them it had in previous years, then
everyone wanting to have a fun quizbowl experience, by all means go.
