I.	The College Trivia Club of Case
Western Reserve University proudly announces its
intention to run the tentatively named Bachelors
Undergraduate Trivia Tournament (Bachelors) on Saturday,
April 28, 2001.

Eligibility:	Players for this
tournament should meet the following criteria to
participate:
1)	You have not received a Bachelors-level degree or
academic equivalent before July 1, 2000. High school
students are not eligible; or
2)	In the case of
students participating in a combined
undergraduate/graduate program, you must have completed your
undergraduate requirements no earlier than July 1, 2000;
or
3)	In the case of students that have assumed more
advanced academic standing (due to granting of course
credits via exams or classes taken in high school), you
must have been enrolled in school for no more than
five years of time, competing for no more than four
years in college. Study-abroad and co-operative time is
included in enrollment time, but academic leave is
not.

While it is preferred that each team be comprised of
students from the same school, mixed teams may be allowed
with the permission of the tournament organizer and
director.

Tournament Structure
Game Format: Each game will consist
of 20 normal tossups and 20 bonus questions (30
point maximum value); interrupts will be applied. Each
participating team is required to submit an acceptable packet
containing at least 25/25 according to packet specifications
(available on request).

Tournament Format: Round
robin. Due to time committments, we currently are not
planning to have a playoff format, but we are open to
suggestions if there is enough interest. We expect a field
size of 8 to 16 for optimum operation.
