Re: Interesting..

I don't think that knowing it all is what makes
people hate someone. I think that it is the way in which
they carry themselves, and the way in which they act
and answer question in a manner which indicates that
they "know" the answer and thus the entire question is
boring. I know smart people which are not arrogant and
don't act authoritatively and get on well with others
even though they know tons of stuff, but I also know
mediocre people who carry themselves as if they are better
than other people and are consequently hated. If you
ask me, I think that people are intimidated by people
with conviction, which is common with QBers, and thus
others sometimes react negatively. I have heard
strategies that ran no matter what answer with conviction
because it is more intimidating. One final possibility is
that the "perfect" person seemed inhuman, and when he
spilled coffee on himself, he became more human. Of
course these are the rantings of someone totally
ill-informed in such matters.
Ben, who might be arrogant,
but tries not to be and was thoroughly humbled at
PE6, congrats to those who slaughtered me, I enjoyed
it.
