The saga continues...I received a call from the
show, apologizing for the confusion. The contestants
rolls remain filled, but I agreed to serve as an
"alternate contestant" for a taping this coming Tuesday,
September 12th. If a contestant is unable to compete, I
step in to replace him/her. If I don't get on Tuesday,
the show says I will be one of the first people
called for the next round of tapings, tentatively
scheduled for January or February.
So, to make a
long story short, I'm still peeved with what happened.
But, you can't keep a grudge forever, and I hope to
turn this screw-up to my advantage.
Now, to
ponder why these things constantly happen to me
