Re: Tournament Lodging proposal

I was always able to get the campus center at
R-MC to serve as a 'temporary hotel'. At most one or
two students would be required as 'babysitters' at
the building being used. I remember Swarthmore was
able to get their campus center used as a 'temporary
hotel' as well.

A 10 x 15 dorm room can easily
fit two extra people. I did it once in my freshman
year. My townhouse is about 1000 sq. ft. and can easily
fit 7-8 people. Less comfortably with 1 minute
showers for all, perhaps 12-13 people.

Some clubs,
sure, will have the money or personal inclination to
find a hotel for the night. But for those
cash-strapped clubs, I would hope tournament hosts can attempt
to accommodate those teams in
attendance.
