Let's take what appears to be a thread getting
run into the ground and spin it in a different light.
This is not an attempt to defend Mr. Beall by the
principle of relativism but rather what I consider a
legitimate question.

What is "copying the works of
others"?

If espn.com lists the winners of the Heisman and
their school, is copying that information for a bonus
unethical?

What if a Stark Trek fan site lists all the references
in episodes to Shakespeare? Does the fact that they
took the time to get that information mean anything?
Should the writers be credited in the
question?

What if you go to cdnow.com and get a biography of U2,
then rewrite it as a tossup? What if you use only one
clue?

What if you go to the Archive, find two questions on
Bach, and combine them?

There's a huge gray area
here. Since qb's lifeblood is its intellectual capital,
I'd be curious as to what others have to say about
this.
